Hello again,
I bet you thought I stopped this newsletter. I’m back now and hoping that this newsletter brings a little more normalcy to my life. March was a bad month personally! Death is not fun! I’m just going to move forward into April now.
It’s time to start gardening! Open your windows! Spring is in the air! I went on my back porch last week to randomly find a raccoon! I let her have that space for the day and she has yet to return, but I am not on high alert every time I go out there.
Anyway, welcome to April. See you next week!
Who doesn’t love Simone Ashley? She’s so charming! It’s great to see her in normal clothes in this romcom about a struggling photographer who’s tasked with going on five blind dates set up by her family before her sister’s extravagant Indian wedding. I watched this with my cousins in the UK and we all found it very cute!
Netflix is really leaning into their Benoit Blanc-type murder mystery with The Residence, where Uzo Aduba plays the kooky detective trying to get to the bottom of the case. I’ve been enjoying the episodes as some casual viewing throughout the week.
The Fight to Save the World’s Most Endangered Wolf
I’ve been reading a lot about endangered species lately (don’t know why! The algorithm got me!), but I really enjoyed this piece about an endangered wolf species in the southern states.
Watch Deli Boys! I cannot recommend this enough! It’s so funny! It’s about two Pakistani-American sons who find out about their father’s mis-dealings upon his sudden death. Poorna Jagannathan steals every scene as Lucky Auntie! She’s so good. Why isn’t she in more things? Anyway, watch Deli Boys so Hulu can renew it for a second season.
